The Brazilian National Anthem (from portuguese: Hino Nacional Brasileiro) was written by Joaquim Osório Duque Estrada, and the music was composed by Francisco Manoel da Silva in 1822. In style it resembles early Romantic Italian music (such as Gioacchino Rossini).
